A deadline is not a schedule.
Due dates do not account for classes, work, appointments, or personal commitments.
Tardy features
Tardy combines coursework intelligence, workload context, calendar availability, and schedule-aware tools so the next step is always clearer.
The planning gap
Due dates do not account for classes, work, appointments, or personal commitments.
Students must translate every assignment into time blocks and decide what comes first.
A complete task list can still leave you wondering what to start tonight.
The same essay takes different students very different amounts of time, and most tools never learn the difference.
Tardy turns scattered academic information into one prioritized, time-aware plan.
The complete flow
Four steps connect what is due with the time you actually have.
Paste your Canvas calendar link—Canvas gives every student one under Calendar → Calendar Feed—and Tardy imports your assignments and deadlines. No password needed, and it works at every Canvas school.
Connect Apple Calendar or Google Calendar, or import a compatible calendar file. Tardy checks when you are already busy before it plans study time.
Tardy weighs deadlines and course importance, then estimates how much focused work each task may need—using what it has learned about your own pace.
Generate a practical plan around classes, work, and personal commitments. Study blocks appear on your calendar so the calendar remains the schedule source of truth.
Available now, at every Canvas school
Everything in this section works with just your Canvas calendar link—no school sign-off needed. Each part contributes to one job: building a realistic academic plan.
Coursework intelligence
Tardy imports assignments from your Canvas calendar and orders them by deadline, course importance, and estimated effort—so you always know what deserves attention first.

Duration learning
Tardy tracks how long your work really takes and learns your pace—per course and per type of task—then sizes future study blocks with your numbers instead of generic guesses.
Workload context
Tardy reads each assignment’s details and deadline alongside your course priorities to estimate effort and help decide what deserves attention first.

Calendar-aware planning
Tardy combines assignments, calendar events, work schedules, and saved preferences into a practical timeline.
Grounded chat
Ask what is due, create a reminder, schedule a study block, or move an event. Tardy uses your assignments, calendar, and saved preferences instead of answering from a blank chat.
Tardy does not submit assignments or change grades. Chat responses and fresh synchronization require a network connection.

Syllabus & schedule scanner
Paste text or use a PDF to extract exam dates, office hours, attendance rules, late-work policies, and professor contact information—including dates that never make it into the Canvas calendar.
Requires your school’s approval
Canvas shares its deeper data only through an official integration that each school’s Canvas administrators review and issue. Where a school approves Tardy, we enable these features for its students.
Undated work, ungraded activities, and anything absent from the Canvas to-do list, surfaced before it surprises you.
Point values and grading weights, so priorities reflect what each task is actually worth.
Work you have already submitted checks itself off—no manual cleanup.
Deeper course metadata that sharpens estimates, summaries, and planning.
Approval is a school decision—and it starts with students asking.

Privacy and trust
Tardy uses the access you choose to provide so it can organize coursework and update your schedule. The app does not contain third-party service credentials, and this website does not use advertising trackers.
Read the full privacy policySign in with Apple supports accounts. Canvas connects through a read-only calendar link—Tardy never asks you to sign in to Canvas.
Calendar access is used to read availability and create or update events requested by the student.
Assistant requests go through Tardy’s backend, so third-party service credentials are not shipped inside the app.
Supported services can be disconnected, while reminders and deadline notifications are scheduled locally.
Coursework import: the Canvas calendar only lists work that has a due date, and a few item types—like ungraded quizzes and discussions—never appear in it. Those can be added in seconds by hand, and a school-approved connection brings them in automatically.
Time estimates: estimates are planning aids, not guarantees. They start from your assignment details and get more accurate as Tardy learns how long work actually takes you—and you can always adjust them yourself.
