01What is Tardy?+
Tardy is an iPhone and iPad student planner that combines coursework, calendar availability, reminders, and AI-assisted planning.
02Does Tardy do my homework or submit assignments?+
No. Tardy helps organize and schedule academic work. It does not complete or submit coursework, and it does not change Canvas grades.
03How does Tardy connect to Canvas?+
The current beta connects with a Canvas personal access token that you create and store securely on your device. Tardy uses it to read the coursework needed for planning. Simpler institution-supported access may be explored later.
04How does Tardy find hidden assignments?+
Tardy compares available Canvas assignment data with the Canvas to-do feed and surfaces due work that is missing from that feed.
05Which calendars does Tardy support?+
Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, and compatible calendar-file imports.
06Can Tardy change my calendar?+
Yes. When requested, Tardy can add, move, or remove supported events and study blocks.
07Does Tardy work offline?+
Previously synced data remains available, and Tardy includes an on-device planning fallback. AI responses and fresh service synchronization require an internet connection.
08Is Tardy available on Android or the App Store?+
Not currently. Tardy is being built for iPhone and iPad and is presently available through a private beta rather than a public App Store release.
09How accurate are the time estimates?+
Time estimates are planning aids based on available assignment and course information. Actual time varies, and students can adjust plans as they learn how long the work really takes.
10What happens to my data?+
Tardy uses account, coursework, calendar, and chat data only as described in its privacy policy and according to the connections you enable.
